Trail Run Australia Snowy Mountains is a multi-distance trail running festival held on 22 February 2026 with race headquarters at Lake Crackenback Resort & Spa, Crackenback, NSW. - 50k UTRA50 (51.6 km) : trails 49.2 km, tarmac 2.4 km; elevation +1,005 m / -776 m. Aid stations at Gaden Hatchery (10.7 km), Bullocks Hut (27.7 km and 48.1 km), Lake Crackenback (31.1 km and finish) and Ngarigo (41.4 km). Support boxes allowed.
- 30k TRA30 (31.1 km) : trails 28.7 km, tarmac 2.4 km; elevation +690 m / -461 m.
- Half TRA21 (21.9 km) : trails 21.8 km, tarmac 0.1 km; elevation +563 m / -344 m.
- 12k TRA12 (11.9 km) : trails 11.8 km, tarmac 0.1 km; elevation +142 m / -142 m.
- 5k TRA5 (4.8 km) : trails 4.7 km, tarmac 0.1 km; elevation +56 m.
The event is cupless: athletes must carry a cup, hydration pack or bottles for aid station refills. Support boxes are permitted (maximum ~30 litres; max dimensions 40 x 30 x 30 cm), must be sealed, waterproof and clearly labelled; Box 1 is routed to Gaden Trout Hatchery (10.7 km) and Box 2 to Lake Crackenback (31.1 km). Compulsory equipment checks occur before the race and random checks may occur on course; a 30 minute penalty applies for each missing compulsory item and severe breaches can lead to disqualification. Minimum ages apply by race: UTRA50 and TRA30 18+, TRA21 15+, TRA12 12+, TRA5 10+. Medical and first aid personnel are located at Race HQ and manned checkpoints.
