Event Overview

The Trail Weekend running event takes place on April 25, 2026. It is held at the Pinckney State Recreation Area and celebrates 39 years of trail running. A portion of each entry fee will be donated to the John Rogucki Memorial Fund.

Course

The course uses the Potawatomi and Crooked Lake Trails. It is a loop with constant hills and is described as neither flat nor fast.

Participants can choose from four distances:

  • 5 miles
  • 13.1 miles (half marathon)
  • 26.2 miles (marathon)
  • 50 kilometers

Participant Benefits

All entries include a custom finisher's medal, food and beer at the finish, and a post-race party. The party features bonfires and music. Optional add-ons are available during the registration process.
