Trail Marathon Pinckney

The Trail Marathon Pinckney takes place within the Pinckney State Recreation Area as part of a long-standing trail running tradition spanning 39 years. Participants navigate a course that features constant hills through various natural landscapes. The routes utilize the Potawatomi and Crooked Lake Trails, providing a loop-style experience through the recreation area.

Participants can choose from several distance options:

  • 5 Miles
  • 13.1 Miles
  • 26.2 Miles
  • 50K

The event environment includes a post-race gathering featuring bonfires and music. All participants receive a custom finisher's medal along with food and beverages available at the finish line. The organizers donate a portion of each entry fee to the John Rogucki Memorial Fund. This event is also part of the GOAT Trail Series.

The terrain is characterized by its hilly nature and natural views. Registration allows for optional add-ons, and those interested in participating outside of running can join the event as volunteers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
