The Trail des Châteaux is a scenic running event that takes participants through the picturesque paths of Sion, Savièse, Arbaz, and Grimisuat, allowing them to discover the local castles. The event features two main courses: a 31 km trail with a 1700 m elevation gain and a more challenging 48 km option. This trail is a modern descendant of the traditional Christmas race, offering both competitive and recreational runners an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and rich history of the region.
