The course is a trail route starting and finishing at Concord Park. Organizers state there will be at least one aid station, but only small cups will be provided, so participants are advised to carry their own hydration. Course rules prohibit headsets, earphones, bicycles, baby strollers, roller blades and pets. Registration is nonrefundable and bib transfers are not allowed; a KTC member discount is accepted. Series season-pass bundles for adults and kids are offered. Series awards include free race entries for the top three in each division and a drawing for two pairs of shoes; eligibility for series awards requires KTC membership and two volunteer shifts. Safety policies note that runners under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to run an adult race and an 18:00/mile minimum pace will be enforced with a course sweeper.
