The Oner Ultra Trail Run

Lyme Regis, United Kingdom • 6-7 Jun 2026

The ONER

The ONER is a single-stage coastal ultra along the Jurassic Coast held on 6th and 7th June 2026. The route is described as circa 85 miles, roughly 140 km, to be completed within 24 hours. Entry for the ONER is listed at £210.

The event is organized by Epic Endurance Events Ltd with support from Votwo Events and typically fields about 100 participants. The course runs from just outside Charmouth eastwards and finishes at the National Trust Shell Bay Car Park in Studland. The route includes the full circumnavigation of Portland and crosses coastal footpaths, beaches and tracks, including exposed cliff sections and parts that take place in darkness. If access to the planned route is restricted an alternative or an out and back route may be used.

Event HQ is at the Masonic Lodge Portland, Victoria Square, Portland DT5 1AL; the HQ acts as meeting point, catering area, first aid and reception and offers free parking. Coaches transport runners from the HQ to the start and from the finish back to the HQ. Checkpoints are located approximately every 10 km, are time logged, stocked with food and drink and supported by event medics. A GPS tracker is supplied by Geo Tracks and GPX and live tracking are available.

Participants must maintain a pace of at least 5.8 km/h to complete the course in 24 hours; those outside the pace will be required to retire and will be transported to the HQ. A mandatory kit list is enforced at registration and includes navigation, whistle, compass, waterproof top, long trousers or tights, gloves and hat in waterproof bags, torch with spare batteries, more than 400 ml of drink, a warm layer, a charged waterproofed mobile phone, an actions sheet, a notepad with contact details and a small food ration. Accommodation options are available locally and limited campervan space at the HQ is possible for a fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
