The Maverick Dark Oxfordshire Trail - Stonor Park, 7 November 2026

The Maverick Dark Oxfordshire Trail is a night trail run set on the Stonor Park estate in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, within the Chiltern Hills. The venue is split by the River Thames and includes estate wildlife such as fallow deer and occasional wallaby sightings. The course is run in low light with head torches and uses estate trails with roots and varied underfoot conditions.

Three route options are offered:

  • Long: 17 km, +494 m elevation
  • Middle: 13 km, +361 m elevation
  • Short: 7 km, +100 m elevation

There will be one outpost on the Middle and Long routes that provides snacks, gels and electrolyte top ups. The Short route has no outpost. There are no toilets on the course; toilets are available within the start and finish area. Organizers aim to keep outposts cup free so participants should bring a cup or bottle for refills.

Included services at the event include free parking, fully marked course, precision fuel and hydration outposts, full timing with online results, event photography, food and drink available, bag drop and a metal finisher medal. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult. Headphones are not permitted. Organizers request that runners aim to finish within about 2.5 hours to reduce marshal exposure. Online entry closes on 4 November 2026 and on the day entries may be available if the event is not sold out. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
