The Maverick Dark Oxfordshire Trail takes place on 7 November 2026 at Stonor Park, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire (RG9 6HF). The event is a night trail running race set within the Stonor Park estate. It is organised by Maverick Race and uses fully marked, timed courses with online results and event photography. Free parking and a bag drop area are provided. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult. Dogs are not permitted.

Routes and logistics

Distances and elevation gains for the three routes are:

  • Long: 17 km (+494 m)
  • Middle: 13 km (+361 m)
  • Short: 7 km (+100 m)

GPX and map files are provided for each route. There is no outpost on the Short route; the Middle and Long routes each have one outpost offering snacks, gels and electrolyte. Outposts do not provide pre-filled paper cups; runners should carry a reusable cup or bottle. There are no toilets along the route; toilets are available in the start/finish area. Headphones are not permitted. The organiser requests that all runners finish within 2 hours 30 minutes to reduce marshal time on course.
