Event overview

The Maverick Dark Oxfordshire takes place on 29 November 2025 at Stonor Park, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire (RG9 6HF). The event is a night off-road running event set on the Stonor estate in the Chiltern Hills and starts and finishes at Stonor Park. Dogs are not permitted. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult. Online entry closes on 26 November 2025; on-the-day entries may be available if the event is not sold out. Transfers are allowed once, with the last transfer day five days before the event.

Routes and practical information

• Long: 17 km, +494 m
• Middle: 13 km, +361 m
• Short: 7 km, +100 m

There is no outpost on the Short route. The Middle and Long routes have one outpost each (approximately 7 km) offering snacks, gels and electrolyte. Outposts do not provide pre-filled water cups; runners should carry a reusable cup or bottle and use self-serve water barrels. There are no toilets along the route; toilets are available in the start/finish area. Headphones are not permitted. The organiser requests reusable cups to reduce plastic; Hydrapak Speed Cups are available to purchase. Event facilities listed include free parking, a fully marked course, timing and online results, event photography, bag drop and a metal finisher medal.
