Event Overview
The Tecumseh Trail Challenge Festival is the 24th annual trail running event. It takes place at Yellowwood State Forest near Nashville, Indiana.

The event offers several trail running distances:
- 50k
- 50k Relay (for 2-4 people)
- 26.2 miles
- 13.1 miles
- 8 miles
Event Details
Check-in and packet pickup are at the Yellowwood State Forest. The start and finish line is at the Group Camp area by Yellowwood Lake. Race-day registration is available if the event is not sold out.
Camping is available at the race site. It is festival-style, tent-only camping with pit toilets and porta potties. The cost is $5 per person. There are also 74 primitive campsites located one mile south of the event site.
A post-race experience includes finisher medals, age group awards for the top three male and female finishers in each category, and on-site custom finish engravings. There will be food, live music, a fire pit, Athletic Brewing beverages for those 21 and over, and a s'mores buffet.
Volunteers for the event receive a free t-shirt, free festival camping, a meal, and discounts for future races.
Pricing and Registration
All prices increase on June 1st and September 1st. There is an additional $10 charge for in-person registration if the event is not sold out. Online registration closes on October 10th.
A discount is available for members of Indiana Trail Running (ITR). Runners who complete the 50k also receive a 10% discount for the Jackson County Ultras event.
