About the race
The Swiss Canyon Trail is a long-running trail running event in the Val-de-Travers, based in Couvet in the Jura region near the French border. Held annually since 1994, the event presents multiple mountain trail distances and is part of an international trail series (World Trail Majors). It traditionally gathers several thousand runners over three days and highlights local landscape and cultural heritage.

Routes traverse the Jura area and incorporate panoramic views and terrain linked to the region’s history. The organiser also runs the Swiss Women's Trail, a separate 100% female trail event.
