Sweat Hot Oklahoma Summer Trials, Nowata, OK - July 25, 2026

The Sweat Hot Oklahoma Summer Trials is scheduled for July 25, 2026 at 707 W Osage Ave in Nowata, Oklahoma. This is the fifth and final edition of the event. Registration closes on Saturday, July 18.

Distances offered

The 6-hour and 12-hour events use a 3.3 mile loop. Participants complete as many full loops as possible within the allotted time; only complete loops count and ties are decided by the fastest final loop. The loop has approximately 60 feet of elevation gain and is roughly a 60/40 asphalt and gravel mix, with some shaded sections on the gravel county road.

The course is not closed to traffic. Signage will be placed to alert vehicles, and participants must remain aware of their surroundings while on course.

Aid and food are provided. There is one fully stocked aid station at the start/finish and one on-course station with water, sports drink, and ice, providing cold water about every 1.6 miles. Food served through the day includes barbecue, quesadillas, watermelon, and other items.

Awards include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female prizes in each event. All finishers receive a medal on a lanyard and a t-shirt. Updates are posted on the event Facebook page. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
