Sweat Hot Oklahoma Summer Trials takes place on July 25, 2026 in Nowata, Oklahoma. This is the fifth and final edition of the event. It features timed endurance formats and a 5K option held at 707 W Osage Ave.

The 6 hour and 12 hour events use a 3.3 mile loop. The loop is approximately 60 feet of gain, is about 60/40 percent asphalt and gravel, and offers some shade along a gravel county road. The course is not closed to traffic; signage will alert vehicles and runners must pay attention to surroundings. 5K runners start at a different point for safety, complete one loop, and finish on the track.
Participants complete as many full loops as they can in their allotted time. Only complete loops count; the participant with the most loops wins. In the event of a tie, the fastest last loop determines the winner.
Aid includes one fully stocked aid station at the start and finish plus one water, sports drink, and ice station on course, with cold water available about every 1.6 miles. Food served during the day includes fresh BBQ, quesadillas, watermelon, and event sandwiches. Awards are given to first through third place male and female in all events; all finishers receive a medal on a lanyard and a t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
