Sweat Hot Oklahoma Summer Trials : July 25, 2026
Sweat Hot Oklahoma Summer Trials takes place in Nowata, OK at 707 W Osage Ave on July 25, 2026. This is the fifth and final edition of the event. Participants may choose between timed endurance events and a short-distance run.
Distances and formats include:
- 12-hour timed event
- 6-hour timed event
- 5K course with a single loop finish on the track
The 6- and 12-hour events use a 3.3 mile loop with approximately 60 feet of elevation gain. The loop is about 60% asphalt and 40% gravel, with some shaded sections along a gravel county road. The course is not closed to traffic; signage will be used to alert vehicles and runners should watch for traffic. Runners count only complete loops; ties are decided by the fastest final loop.
Aid and on-course provisions include one fully stocked aid station at the start/finish and one water, sports drink, and ice station on the loop. Cold water is available roughly every 1.6 miles. Food served throughout the day includes fresh BBQ, quesadillas, watermelon, and event hot dogs. Awards are given to first through third place male and female in each event, and all finishers receive a finisher medal on a lanyard plus a t-shirt.
