Suntrail - Pure Grit Trail Race

The Suntrail Pure Grit Trail Race is an annual trail running event held at the Sawmill Nordic Centre in Hepworth, Ontario. Hosted by Georgian Bay Nordic, the race supports a youth cross-country ski team. It offers multiple distances including 2.5 km, 5 km, 7.5 km, 15 km, 30 km, and a 6-hour timed race where participants complete as many laps as possible.

The 15 km course involves two laps, while the 30 km requires four laps. The event features chip timing, a 250-entrant cap, and awards for top finishers in each category.
