About the race
The Stromlo Running Festival takes place over two days in November 2026 at Stromlo Forest Park in Canberra. The event offers multiple trail distances and includes a dedicated kids course. It is listed with ITRA/UTMB and supported by the ACT Government.
Bibs are pick up only and may be collected on behalf of another person. Pre-event collection is available at the Canberra and Region Visitor Information Centre between 7 and 11 November 2026. Additional collection points are at the Stromlo Forest Park Event Hub on the day before and on event days.
The festival provides event-day support including a University of Canberra Recovery Hub staffed by physiotherapy students under supervision to offer free post-run assistance. There are on-site amenities for visitors and paid parking with 487 spaces, plus a short term drop off zone. The organisers note there will be no prize presentations on the day.
Volunteers are involved across event roles and are acknowledged by the organisers. The festival lists a range of partners and sponsors and maintains results and photo archives from previous editions.
