Somerset Rail Trail Classic

The Somerset Rail Trail Classic is an annual running and cycling event held in the Somerset region. The 22nd edition of the event will be held on Sunday, 12 July 2026.

The event takes place on Australia's longest recreational rail trail, the historic Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. It is an initiative of Somerset Regional Council.

Participants can choose from several distances:

  • A 3 km run or walk.
  • An 8 km run or walk.
  • A 20 km bike ride.
  • A 44 km bike ride.
