Run The Rock 2026

Run The Rock takes place at Hanging Rock in the Macedon Ranges, Victoria. Located approximately one hour from Melbourne and near Woodend, the event features a variety of course surfaces including trails, paths, and roads. Participants complete a lap at the base of Hanging Rock and experience views of the surrounding landscape and native wildlife.

The event offers several distance options:

  • 2K Kids Dash

The venue includes an event village where participants can find food trucks, a coffee cart, a BBQ, and live music. The village also hosts games and activities. Participants receive electronic timing, race results, and a finisher medal upon completion. Drinks stations and distance markers are positioned along the courses.

Additional activities include a Park Ranger-guided hike of the Hanging Rock Summit Walking Trail. This 1.8 km guided experience lasts approximately 75 minutes and covers moderate terrain with some steep sections and steps. Participants also have the option to engage in fundraising for various charities through the event's partner platform. Race pack collection is available at designated locations in Huntingdale and Brighton prior to the event, as well as on-site on the morning of the races. A multi-distance trail running event at Woodlands Historic Park on 24 May 2026, offering courses from 2 km to 50 km with downloadable maps and GPX files, a 10 km canicross option, and on-site bib collection via Humanitix ticketing.

Three winter trail races near Melbourne across forest, coastal and mountain terrain, each offering multiple short, medium and long distances. Race day elements include a social atmosphere with live music, coffee and food trucks.

Experience a rewarding trail run through Blackwood while supporting Berry Street. This UTMB qualifier offers distances including 70km and 42km for runners seeking ITRA points and various course options.
