Snowden Trail Race offers two marked trail distances through the Snowden Demonstration Forest near Campbell River on Vancouver Island. The course uses miles of single track with gentle rollers and notably soft ground, with forest filtered natural light along the route.
The event has a grassroots tailgate vibe with a live DJ, prizes, post run food and drinks. The course is well marked and supports both relaxed pacing to enjoy the scenery and faster efforts on relatively flat sections.

The event raises funds for Campbell River Search & Rescue and Campbell River SAR will be on site on race day. Fundraising totals listed show CA$3,213.46 raised for the associated organizations.
Safety policies are enforced to protect participants and volunteers. Key rules include registered participants only on course, a required online waiver before participation, no bib swapping, the obligation to notify course marshals if a participant cannot complete the course, and authority for medical staff or race directors to remove a runner if continuing is unsafe.
