Event Information
The Snowden Trail Race is a trail running event held in the Snowden Demonstration Forest near Campbell River, on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The event offers two distances:
- 11k with approximately 150 meters of elevation gain.
- 26k with approximately 265 meters of elevation gain.
The course features mostly single-track trails with gentle rollers. The event is described as having a tailgate vibe, featuring a live DJ, prizes, and post-run food and drinks. The course is noted as being well-marked.
It is noted that there is limited, basically no, cell coverage at the race venue and throughout the trail network.
Supported Cause
The event's fundraising supports Campbell River Search & Rescue, a volunteer organization that provides search and rescue services in the area.
Important Policies
