The SF Half Day takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at East Beach (East Bluff picnic area), Crissy Field, San Francisco, CA 94129. The event offers timed running formats for individuals and teams:

  • 12-hour (Solo and Team)
  • 6-hour (Solo and Team)
  • 3-hour (Solo and Team)

Teams consist of 2-4 members. Each team member must complete at least one lap. Team bibs are transferred only at the timing mat. Award medals are given to top teams and to first male and female overall and top three in each age group. All participants receive a finisher's medal and a custom coaster. The top three overall finishers in each individual category receive race credits: $50, $35, and $20.

Course and logistics

The course is a one-mile loop around the Crissy Field lagoon; each lap measures 1.0275 miles. The loop is relatively flat and is 60% crushed surface and 40% asphalt. It is USATF certified (CA18040RS). The first lap is run counterclockwise; runners may change direction at the start/finish mat at the end of each loop. Bibtag chip timing records each lap and real-time lap splits are shown at the start/finish. Aid stations are provided every mile with fruit, salty snacks, candy, water, and Skratch electrolyte drink.
