Screel Hill Race

The Criffel Hill Race takes place in March 2026. Runners must carry mandatory safety kit, including full waterproofs and a map. All event profits support Moffat Mountain Rescue.

Experience a 10 km multi-terrain race through undulating roads and Setmurthy Woods starting from Cockermouth School. All finishers receive an Easter Egg and can enjoy professional chip timing on this scenic course.

Traverse 46 miles and 4000 metres of ascent across three Galloway hill ranges in this endurance event for solo runners and teams of up to four. Enjoy manned hot food stations and included camping while supporting mountain rescue.
