Screel Hill Race

A hill trail event in Cockermouth on 19 May 2026 featuring an adult multi terrain race and a new junior race with age specific distances and medals. The adult race is chip timed and includes a timed summit section.

A 16 km unmarked hill race in the Lowther Hills with 1200 m of climb, limited to 200 runners. Competitors must carry mandatory kit, bring a refillable cup for water stations, and be prepared to navigate open, pathless terrain.
