Screel Hill Race

The Criffel Hill Race takes place in March 2026. Runners must carry mandatory safety kit, including full waterproofs and a map. All event profits support Moffat Mountain Rescue.

Experience a 10 km multi-terrain race through undulating roads and Setmurthy Woods starting from Cockermouth School. All finishers receive an Easter Egg and can enjoy professional chip timing on this scenic course.

Experience a 46 mile team challenge across three classic Galloway hill ranges with over 4000 metres of ascent. This navigation based event supports the local Mountain Rescue Team and includes camping and hot food checkpoints.
