Screel Hill Race

Take on a challenging winter fell race up Cairnsmore of Fleet on 13 December 2025 across the Southern Galloway mountains. Proceeds benefit Galloway Mountain Rescue Team and competent navigation skills are required.

Take in Lake District views on road routes through Lorton Valley at the North Lakes Half Marathon and 10 km in Cockermouth on 8 February 2026. Live chip timing, event medals and Wild Deer merch make this a memorable winter run.

Bruce's Crown Race is a bold team mountain challenge from Caldons near Glentrool in Galloway, spanning 46 miles and over 4000 metres of ascent across three hill ranges. Teams of 2 to 4 tackle checkpoints, hot food and a 24 hour time limit.

Tackle a 20 mile fell race across rugged Galloway peaks including Merrick with 1850 m of ascent and dramatic ridge and plateau running. Organised in aid of Galloway Mountain Rescue, the race finishes at Caldons with hot soup and a beer.
