Event Information

The Schon Park 3/6/9 Endurance Runs is a timed running event in Glen Carbon, Illinois. Participants choose to run for a duration of 3, 6, or 9 hours on a continuous, looped course. The course is approximately 1.5 miles per loop and features paved paths with rolling hills.

A central basecamp serves as the aid station and crew area. The aid station provides water and typical ultra-running foods. Crews are allowed to set up in the designated basecamp area. Permanent restroom facilities are available on-site.

All events finish at 6:00 PM, with an awards ceremony immediately after. Awards are given to the top male and female overall finishers and the top three in each age group. Placement is based on the number of loops completed within the time limit. All participants receive swag.

Packet pickup is available on the Wednesday and Friday before the event at a location in Edwardsville, as well as on race day at Schon Park.

The event has several rules, including a prohibition on littering, trekking poles, pacers, and swimming. The course remains open to the public during the event. Participants are advised that March weather in the Midwest can be unpredictable.

The event is hosted by Ultra Bound Coaching. Registration prices increase after February 28, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
