Scenic Rim Ultra
The Scenic Rim Ultra is a trail running event in the Scenic Rim region of Queensland, Australia, held on 8 August 2026. The event offers multiple race distances on a loop course that starts and finishes at Lilybrook Recreation Area (Western Trail Head) on Beaudesert Boonah Road.
Runners can choose from the following distances:
- 10 km
- 25 km
- 42 km
- 65 km
- 105 km
- 100 Miler
The course includes more than 4000 m of elevation on longer distances, mountain climbs, ridgelines and technical downhills. Terrain types include dirt road, single track and dense forest. The route traverses four mountains, crosses the Dugandan Range, passes Wyaralong Dam and uses private trails not usually open to the public.
Support and logistics include generous cut-offs and multiple checkpoints. Several distances carry ITRA points, including 105 km (4 points), 65 km (3 points) and 25 km (1 point). Finishers of the 105 km distance receive a distinctive cowboy hat; other distances receive a unique finisher item.
