Mt Buller Sky Run, also known as Santa's Run, takes place on Sunday 7 December 2025 at Mount Buller Alpine Resort. The event village address is Village Square, Summit Rd, Mount Buller VIC 3723. The event starts and finishes in the Village Square and is organised as an alpine trail running event across ridge lines and snow gum forests.

The courses range from a short nature trail to longer mountain routes. The 5 km course is a short nature trail to the summit of Mt Buller with multiple mountain views. The 22 km route goes from Mount Buller to Mount Stirling and back. The 36 km course includes Mount Buller to Mount Stirling with a descent to the Delatite River and a steep climb back to Mount Buller. The 45 km ultra adds Craigs Hut, riverside sections along the Delatite River, and finishes with a climb to Mount Buller before a descent to the Village Square finish.

Entries and requirements

Entries are taken via the Active Network. Entry fees listed are: 45 km $100, 36 km $100, 22 km $90, 5 km $40; late entry fees apply after 1 December. A pre-run briefing is mandatory; no briefing means no start. Mandatory safety gear is required. There are cut-offs at Mirimbah Park and Northside Express; runners who miss cut-offs may be pulled or directed to the finish without summiting. Minimum ages: 5 years for the 5 km and 12 years for the 22 km unless agreed with the Race Director. Accommodation options are available on Mt Buller.
