Red Feather Trail Jamboree : Red Feather Lakes, Colorado
The Red Feather Trail Jamboree is a three-day trail running event held at Ben Delatour Scout Ranch in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado on September 25–27, 2026. The weekend features multiple distances with substantial elevation change over varied terrain and public forest and private scout camp land.
Distances include:
- 50 Mile: 8,500′ vertical gain
- 50K: 4,200′ vertical gain
- Half Marathon: 1,700′ vertical gain
- 3-Day Challenge: stage race combining multiple events
Course characteristics and logistics are documented with maps and GPX files. Terrain is about 70–80% singletrack and 20–30% dirt road. Min/max elevations and average elevations are provided for each distance. The 50 Mile route crosses several trail systems and reaches just under 11,000 feet near Middle Bald Mountain. Aid stations provide water, a sports drink, salty snacks, fruit, sweets and soda, with GF and vegan alternatives held back for those who need them. Drop bags are allowed for the 50 Mile at Deadman and Granite Ridge aid stations. The course is marked with pink flagging, pin flags and flour at key intersections. Restrooms are available at start/finish and major trailheads; other aid stations offer trowels and toilet paper.
