RAF Spadeadam Blue Streak Trail Run

The RAF Spadeadam Blue Streak Trail Run is a one-day trail event at RAF Spadeadam, the former test centre for the Blue Streak rocket built in 1955. The course route passes historic launch platforms, military equipment and practice targets and offers views over the Lake District, Hadrian's Wall and Spadeadam Forest. Distances are approximate to allow the route to include key sights.

Entries are managed through SiEntries. Entries open 26 August 2025 and close 23 April 2026. The event lists 125 participants so far. Entry fees are shown as £32.00 for the 14 mile option and £26.00 for the 11 km option. The minimum age for both courses is 16 years or older.

The event takes place on an active RAF station, so spectators will not be able to access the station. Each finisher receives a medal and additional small items. All profits will be donated to the RAF Benevolent Fund. The event offers an optional XCover purchase that may allow a refund if a participant cannot attend for unforeseen reasons.
