Pembrokeshire Coastal Races
The Pembrokeshire Coastal Races run 11th - 13th June 2027 along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and Wales Coast Path, with all races finishing at the cliff-top event village at Dale (Dale Hill Farm Campsite, SA62 3QX). The event is point-to-point with coach transfers available from the finish to each race start; parking in Dale is provided for the event duration.
Four distances follow coastal trails, bays, beaches and estuaries, with substantial ascent on each course:
- 100 miles – 5,850 m ascent, 40 hour time limit
- 50 miles – 2,650 m ascent, 18.5 hour time limit
- 50 km – 1,739 m ascent, 16 hour time limit
- Marathon – 1,486 m ascent, 14.5 hour time limit
All routes follow the waymarked Pembrokeshire and Wales Coast Path. The event is self-navigation but is well signed; competitors receive a GPS file and the organisers provide extra markers, marshals or flags at difficult sections. Checkpoint provision varies by distance: 12 for the 100 mile, 7 for the 50 mile, 5 for the 50 km and 4 for the marathon; 100 mile runners also have access to one drop bag approximately halfway.
Event HQ offers camping for competitors and families, event parking, registration, toilets and showers, food and drink vendors, an event marquee and a cliff-top finish area.
