Pembrokeshire Coastal Races : Trail and Ultra Running Festival
The Pembrokeshire Coastal Races take place 5th to 7th June 2026 along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and Wales Coast Path. The event offers four distances, each finishing at the cliff-top campsite of Dale with views over Milford Sound.
Distances on offer:
- 100-mile ultra (St Dogmaels to Dale; 160 km; 6,300 m ascent)
- 50-mile ultra (Porthgain to Dale; 80 km; 2,850 m ascent)
- 50K ultra (St David’s to Dale; 50 km; 1,850 m ascent)
- 22-mile trail (Newgale to Dale; 35 km; 1,150 m ascent)
Event HQ is at Dale Hill Farm Campsite (SA62 3QX), a former RAF airfield. Facilities include camping for competitors and families, spaces for caravans and motorhomes, an event marquee, toilets and showers, food and drink vendors, event parking and a finish line on the coastal cliffs. The site provides access to nearby secluded bays.
All routes follow the marked Pembrokeshire Coast Path and Wales Coast Path; the event is self navigation but organisers provide a GPS trace for competitors. Checkpoint coverage varies by race: 12 checkpoints for the 100 mile, 7 for the 50 mile, 5 for the 50K and 3 for the 22 mile. The 100 mile race allows three drop bags; the 50 mile one drop bag.
Entries include coach transport and parking for all races, GPS tracker hire for all races, and additional items such as checkpoints with refreshments, first aid cover and route maps.
