About the race
The Otter Challenge is a 6-hour running event held at Kingsbury Water Park near Sutton Coldfield, UK. Participants run multiple laps of a 3.3-mile flat course that loops around five ponds and a river, offering scenic views and varied terrain including grass, gravel, and some asphalt. Runners can choose their distance, from a single 5K lap to over 50 miles by completing as many laps as possible within the time limit.
The event welcomes all abilities, including walkers and hikers, and encourages a relaxed, sociable atmosphere. Amenities include parking, a café, and toilets.
