Ohio's Backyard Ultra is a Last Person Standing running event held at McChesney Ridge Athletic Club in Lucasville, Ohio. The race uses a measured loop of 4.1667 miles; each loop must be completed within one hour and laps repeat until a single runner finishes a final loop alone.

The daytime course is two laps of about 2.08 miles each and includes double-track trail, gravel, grass, and dirt with roughly 450 to 475 feet of elevation gain per loop. Night laps are run on an out-and-back course measured at the same distance, with about 150 feet of elevation gain and a mix of dirt, gravel, and pavement on the road section. Runners must remain on course during a lap and provide their own aid. Crews are allowed but limited to one crew member per runner. A small personal area near the start and finish is available; porta-potties are located near the start line.

Field capacity is 115 runners. The listed registration price tiers include $131.30 after opening and $141.95 after January 31. Early-consideration entries, general registration, elite entry spots, and a private waitlist are part of the entry process. The organizer offers refunds on a sliding scale up to 45 days before the event and does not permit rollovers or transfers.
