Night Moves Trail Races

Night Moves Trail Races is a nighttime trail-running event held at Stephen F. Austin State Park in San Felipe, Texas, just west of Houston. The festival offers 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon, and a Kids Run.

The course uses wide gravel/dirt trails with a few elevation changes, suitable for beginners to experienced runners, and it’s marked with reflectors and ribbons to illuminate the course at night. Special features include a cupless format requiring runners to carry their own bottle, and mandatory lights and hydration gear. Packet pickup, the main aid station, and spectator area are centered in the group dining hall, with a 2 a.m.
