MT10 (Multi-Terrain 10)
The MT10 is an off-road trail running event held at Pembrey Country Park. The race takes participants through the park and along Cefn Sidan Beach, offering a varied environment for runners. The event distance is:
- 10 miles (16 km)
The terrain consists of a combination of soil and firm sand. Due to the tidal range at Cefn Sidan, the beach section typically features firm, compacted sand during the race period. The course is fully marked and marshalled to assist participants, and a GPX file is provided to runners prior to the event.
Registration is open to individuals aged 18 and over. The event features several age categories, including U20, Senior, and Masters categories starting from F35 and M40. Participation requires pre-registration as entries close in advance and there is no option to enter on the day of the event. All participants must collect their race numbers on-site during the designated morning registration period.
The event is organized by A Cycling Ltd and does not permit runners to participate with dogs. While the primary event is the 10 mile race, there may be shorter distance options for younger runners subject to confirmation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
