The event takes place on November 21, 2026 at Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. Races start and finish in Arizona inside the tribal park. Proceeds benefit community health and wellness programs on the Navajo Nation.
Distances offered include:
- Marathon, 26.2 Miles, capped at 200 runners
- Half Marathon, 13.1 Miles, graded dirt road, capped at 500 runners

The Wildcat 4-Miler follows trail posts and runs around and between East and West Mitten.
Aid stations provide hydration, medical support, Honey Stinger gels and chews, Gatorade, salty and sweet snacks and fresh fruit. This is a cupless event; aid station volunteers will fill personal bottles or hydration bags.
Packet pick-up is held at the Visitor Center patio near the flagpoles and on race morning near the start area. Awards include pottery or plaque for overall top three male and female finishers and age-group awards with pints, beanies and dreamcatchers. All finishers receive a medal. Post-race offerings include live music, presentations by tribal leaders and hot food. Several local organizations and lodges support the event.
