Route and Environment
The event takes place at the Ruth McKenzie Table Mountain Preserve in Clovis, California. The preserve spans 2960 acres of grassland and oak woodland, featuring a landscape that slopes upward toward basalt lava table lands. Participants traverse a mix of surfaces, including dirt roads and trails. The terrain includes views of the table formations and, depending on the season, vernal pools that form in the low spots of the basalt. The 5k route specifically features gently rolling dirt roads, while the half marathon course includes rolling hills. On the north-facing slopes of the preserve, the environment transition into a mix of pine forest and chaparral.

- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
- 6.2 Miles (10k Run/Walk)
- 3.1 Miles (5k Run/Walk)
- 0.5 Miles (Kids Run)
- 0.25 Miles (Kids Run for ages 7 and under)
Awards and Amenities
Participants in the half marathon, 10k, and 5k receive a custom event shirt, a finisher medal, and post-race refreshments. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in the half marathon, 10k, and 5k events. Additionally, the half marathon and 10k categories offer awards for the top three male and female finishers within 10-year age groups. Age group awards are not provided for the 5k distance.
