Kilcunda Trail Running Festival takes place on 1 February 2026 on Victoria’s Bass Coast. The event village is on the nature reserve opposite the Kilcunda Ocean View Hotel, 3531-3533 Bass Hwy, Kilcunda VIC 3995.

Courses run across rolling grassy slopes, sandy beaches and hills located between cliffs that overlook the Southern Ocean. Sections of the route pass beside green fields where cattle graze.

The location is about 90 minutes from Melbourne along the Bass Highway and provides access to nearby destinations such as Philip Island, Inverloch and Wonthaggi. Registration fees are stated as inclusive of mandatory charges. Minimum ages are listed as 16 for the 21 km, 12 for the 17 km and 10 km, and 5 for the 5 km, and a 40% discount is noted for eligible younger entrants.

An annual community trail run at Devilbend Natural Features Reserve on the Mornington Peninsula offering multiple distances and a Magic Mile for children. Courses use grass, gravel, stone, mud and clay and funds support the Mornington Penin..

A trail running event on the Mornington Peninsula planned for 17 January 2027, offering 28 km and 56 km courses. Entrants must meet published qualification criteria and entry windows are set for mid 2026 to early 2027.

Organised by Elite Energy and postponed to 29 May 2027, the Southern Rail Trail run offers distances from 2 km to 100 km along the Great Southern Rail Trail through South Gippsland towns and restored trestle bridges.
