The event is cupless so runners must use their own reusable hydration system.

Qualifications and support: the 100 mile entry requires completion of a 50 mile mountain effort within the past year; the 50 mile requires a 50 km mountain effort within the past year; the 20 mile has no formal qualifications. Crew access at remote aid stations is restricted; pacers are allowed under specific aid station rules and must carry required gear.
