Course and support

The 108-mile course is an out-and-back between Waterville Valley and the South Moat turnaround and traverses multiple ridgelines and named peaks including Mount Tecumseh, Mount Osceola, Mount Tremont, Big Attitash and North Moat. The 50-mile route begins at South Moat and crosses ridgelines including Big Attitash and the Osceola ridgeline before returning to Waterville Valley. The 20-mile is a mountain loop that includes Mount Osceola and Mount Tecumseh. Aid stations are provided on the longer courses; drop bags are accepted at aid stations for the 100- and 50-mile events. The 20-mile has a single aid station around mile 11.3.

Logistics and requirements

Parking is at the Waterville Valley Town Square back lots; campground space is available at Osceola Vista Campground about 2 miles from the start/finish. The event enforces mandatory gear checks. Required items include potable capacity (minimum 2 L), water filter, GPX file on a device, emergency blanket, headlamp and spare batteries, insulating layers, neon reflective vest for road sections, communication device, battery pack and a basic first aid kit.
