International Adelholzener Hochfellnberglauf Bergen
The event is the 52nd edition of the International Hochfellnberglauf held on 27 September 2026 in Bergen. It is organised by the Ski-Club Bergen e.V. and approved as a DLV mountain run. The race is also listed in the WMRA world ranking and uses Alge-Timing for official timekeeping and live timing.
The competition is a mountain run and also offered as a licence-free popular run. The course starts at Bergen at the valley station of the Hochfelln cable car at 600 m and finishes at the Hochfelln summit at the Hochfellnhaus at 1671 m. The route measures 7.8 km with a total ascent of 1071 m.
Entry is online with a registration deadline of 23 September 2026 at 18:00. The standard entry fee is 40 EUR, with a reduced fee of 30 EUR for registrations and payment received before 30 June 2026. A late entry surcharge of 10 EUR applies. Payment is processed by direct debit at registration. The entry fee includes an invitation to the noodle party, descent by cable car, parking, a varied refreshment buffet, showers and baggage transport.
Competition classes cover female and male youth categories up to U16 and U18/U20 and extend through adult and multiple senior age groups. Spikes and ski poles are not permitted. Organisers disclaim liability for accidents and damage; participants are responsible for their own insurance. Protests must be submitted in writing within 30 minutes of race end with a 50 EUR cash fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
