HURL Elkhorn is a set of mountain trail races in the Elkhorn Mountains near Helena, Montana. Races take place on remote, roadless backcountry trails with no pavement and limited vehicle access on primitive road sections.

The 50 Mile course includes approximately 37 miles of very technical single track, about 13 miles of primitive or double-track jeep road, and roughly 1 mile of maintained Forest Service dirt road. The course lists about 13,400 feet of elevation gain and a maximum elevation just under 9,000 feet. Aid stations: 8 stocked stations with the longest gap about 7 miles. Trail sections are closed to motorized vehicles.
The 50K course features extensive technical single track and a few miles of primitive jeep road, with about 7,900 feet of elevation gain and a maximum elevation near 8,000 feet. Aid stations: 5 stocked stations with the longest gap about 8 miles.
The 13.1 Mile course runs entirely on technical single track with creek crossings, about 3,300 feet of elevation gain and a maximum elevation around 7,200 feet. Aid stations: 2 stations with the longest gap about 6 miles.
