The Hume & Hovell Ultra is a trail running event held 10 to 11 October 2026 at the Hume and Hovell Track, starting from the Henry Angel Trackhead on the Hume and Hovell Walking Track near Burra and Tumbarumba, New South Wales. The course uses sections of the historic Hume and Hovell route and passes native bushland, mountain terrain, and relics along Burra Creek.

The 11 km course begins at Henry Angel and loops around the campground, travels toward Tumbarumba Creek bridge, and returns along the same route. Organisers state that race cutoffs are generous and that several shorter events are intended to accommodate first-time trail runners. The 100 km event has a 24 hour cutoff and requires entrants to have completed a qualifying run.
The event lists sponsors and supporters and includes fundraising for the Riverina Highlands Rural Fire Service. An unforeseen emergency such as bushfire or flood may prevent the event from proceeding. There will be no entry fee refunds if the event is cancelled or if significant parts of the course become inaccessible at the direction of authorities in the two weeks leading up to and including the event.
