Event Overview
The Hume and Hovell Ultra is a trail running event held on a weekend in October in Tumbarumba, New South Wales. It takes place on sections of the historic Hume & Hovell Walking Track.
Distances
The event offers five distances:
- 11km Trail Race - 70% singletrack, 150m elevation gain/loss.
- 22km Trail Race - 70% singletrack, 700m gain / 600m loss, 8-hour cutoff.
- 50km Ultra Race - 90% singletrack, 1490m elevation gain/loss, 10-hour cutoff.
- 100km Ultra Race - 94% singletrack, 2500m elevation gain/loss, 24-hour cutoff.
- 100km Relay Race - 94% singletrack, 2500m elevation gain/loss, 24-hour cutoff.
The event also includes a Kids Dash on the second day.
History and Organisation
