Tasmania’s Gone Nuts 101 Adventure Run is scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026, in North West Tasmania. The race starts at The Nut in Stanley and finishes at Wynyard Yacht Club in Wynyard. The event offers multiple race options and team formats, with a total field limit of 1000 entrants across all races. Registration is online only, on a first-come, first-served basis, and full payment is required at entry.
Races
- 101 km - individual, team of 2, 3 or 4

- 50 km - individual or team of 2

Course
The route follows coastal terrain and includes sections through Rocky Cape National Park, coastal bush and temperate rainforest. The course passes farmland meeting Bass Strait and a variety of beaches, including long sandy beaches, small crescent bays and rocky bays formed by volcanic activity. The final section includes private land used only on race day and a coastal approach around Table Cape.
Entries, transfers and refunds
Entries open October 1, 2025 and close January 31, 2026, or when the field limit is reached. No juniors (under 18) are accepted for the 101 km; junior entries are allowed for the 50 km and 25 km with parental consent. Entrants must accept an electronic waiver on entry. Transfers to another entrant are allowed up to 48 hours before the event. Refunds before January 31, 2026 incur a $25 administration fee; after February 15, 2026 no refunds are given, though transfers remain possible under the stated rules.
Prizes, transport and insurance
Prize money is offered for first place male and female in each distance (for example, $1,000 for the 101 km winner). Bus transport will be provided from Wynyard to the various race start locations on race morning.
