About the race
Tasmania’s Gone Nuts 101 Adventure Run is a multi-distance trail running event in North West Tasmania that starts at The Nut in Stanley and finishes at the Wynyard Yacht Club in Wynyard. The course follows coastal sections, climbs through Rocky Cape National Park, traverses coastal bush and temperate rainforest, and includes a final loop around Table Cape. Part of the route uses private land that is open only on race day.
The event offers multiple race options:
- 101 km individual or teams of 2, 3 or 4
- 75 km individual
- 50 km individual or teams of 2
- 25 km individual only
Entries open October 13, 2026 and close January 31, 2027 or when the total field limit of 1000 entrants is reached. Entry is first come, first served and must be completed online with full payment. Junior entrants (under 18) are not accepted for the 101 km; junior entries are allowed for the 50 km and 25 km with parental consent.
Prizes are offered for first place in each distance. Entry transfers are permitted up to 48 hours before the event, subject to conditions. Refunds are available under specified deadlines; after mid-February 2027 no refunds are given but transfers are allowed. The organiser carries public liability insurance; participants are responsible for their own personal insurance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
