Frosty 15

Frosty 15 is an out and back trail race on the Yockanookany section of the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail in Madison, MS. The event is offered in two distances:

• 15.5 mile out and back on a single track trail
• 15K out and back with a turnaround point along the trail

The course runs from the West Florida Boundary trailhead at mile marker 108 north to the Highway 43 Trailhead and back for the 15 mile course. The start and finish are at the West Florida Boundary historic site on the Natchez Trace Parkway, milepost 107.9.

There are two aid stations stocked with water, Tailwind, fruit, and sweet and salty food located at mile 2.75 and mile 7.7, the turnaround point for the 15 mile course. Runners must carry a water bottle or hydration pack because this is a cupless event.

The race is chip timed and has a five hour time limit. Awards are given to 1st through 3rd place male and female in each race. Runners may change from one distance to the other during the race and receive credit for that result, but such runners are not eligible for awards.
