Flat Top Mesa Endurance Run - Mesquite, NV

The Flat Top Mesa Endurance Run takes place February 14–15, 2026 in Mesquite, Nevada, at 1635 World Championship Way. The event uses a roughly 10-mile counter-clockwise loop on desert trails, with aid stations and a start/finish at the parking lot at the bottom of the loop.

Race distances

  • 50 Miler: 5 loops of the 10-mile course, about 50 miles.
  • 100 Miler: 10 loops of the 10-mile course, about 100 miles.
  • 50K: 3 loops plus a 0.5-mile out-and-back on a nearby bike path.
  • 100K: Two 50K courses; 6 loops plus the 0.5-mile bike path segment.

Course overview: each loop begins near 1903 feet and peaks near 2333 feet, producing about 430 feet of net elevation change per loop. The first mile is a steep climb gaining nearly 400 feet. Miles 1–5 continue to climb and roll, with a high point around mile 3. An aid station sits near the midpoint of each loop. Miles 5–9 form a mid-course plateau, and the final mile is a steep, technical descent back to the parking lot.

Terrain and logistics: desert trails with packed dirt and rocky sections; the 50K and 100K include a short flat paved bike path out-and-back to reach the nominal distance. The course is tracked via Garmin Connect and runs counter-clockwise.

Practical notes: plan for steep ascents and descents, use hydration at the loop start and midpoint aid station, and consider trail shoes, sun protection, and optional trekking poles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
