Flat Top Mesa Endurance Run : overview

The Flat Top Mesa Endurance Run is a trail running event in Mesquite, Nevada. The 2026 edition is scheduled for February 14-15, 2026 and is based at 1635 World Championship Way, Mesquite, NV 89027. The event uses a single counter-clockwise loop of about 10 miles repeated for different distances. Terrain is desert trails with packed dirt, rocky sections, and open vistas. The course is tracked via Garmin Connect.

Distances

  • 100 Miler: Ten laps of the 10-mile loop (approximately 100 miles).
  • 100 KM: Completes the 50K course twice (approximately 62.2 miles / 100 km).
  • 50 Miler: Five laps of the 10-mile loop (approximately 50 miles).
  • 50 KM: Three laps plus a 0.5-mile out-and-back on a nearby bike path.

Course details

Each loop starts and ends at the parking lot at the bottom of the course. Elevation begins near 1903 ft and peaks near 2333 ft, for a net change of about 430 ft per loop. The first mile is a steep climb, the middle miles include rolling climbs and a mid-loop aid station near mile 5, and the final mile is a steep technical descent back to the parking lot.
