Dino Trail Run - Brown County State Park
The event is a trail run held at Brown County State Park in Nashville, Indiana on Saturday May 30, 2026. Two course options are offered:
- 5K
- 15K
The course is described with significant hills and a surface difficulty rating of 3 (on a 1-5 scale); hill difficulty is rated 5. The route starts with an uphill mile, the 5K returns via a long downhill to the finish, and the 15K continues onto a loop with several long climbs and descents before finishing on the same long downhill. Much of the course runs on the mountain bike trail. GPX files and course maps are provided for both distances.
Online registration closes the Wednesday before the event at midnight; in-person registration is available on race day. Entry fees are listed as 5K = $30, 15K = $35, day-of entry adds $10 or more, and the kids race is free. A season pass option is available for multiple series events.
Race rules require the race number to be visible, following marked trails, courteous passing, and no headphones or dogs. There is no time limit, but participants taking longer than 2 1/4 hours may miss awards and experience limited services. Awards are given to the overall top three in each distance and to top three finishers in each age group. The event has a no-refund policy and limits on transfers near the event date.
