Dino Trail Run - Brown County State Park
The event takes place Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Brown County State Park, 1801 IN-46, Nashville, IN 47448. Two main race distances are offered:
- 15K (loop with long climbs and descents)
- 5K (out and back, long downhill finish)
The course is rated Hills 5 and Surface 3 on a 1-to-5 scale. The route starts uphill for the first mile before easing, with the 5K returning on a mile-long downhill to the finish. The 15K turns onto a loop that includes several sustained climbs and descents and finishes on the same long downhill used by the 5K. Most of the race follows the mountain bike trail that will be used for a DINO Mountain Bike Series event the following day.
Registration is available online through race start; prices increase the Wednesday at midnight prior to the event. Entry fees listed are 5K $30, 15K $35, day of entry $10+, and the kids race is free. Season passes and multi-race bundles are available for series savings. Course maps and GPX files are provided.
Race rules require the race number to be visible on the front, following marked trails, courteous passing, and no headphones or dogs. There is no time limit but services and awards may be limited after 2 hours 15 minutes. Awards include medals for overall top three per distance and top three in each age category.
