The Dino Trail Run at Brown County State Park takes place on Saturday May 30th, 2026 at 1801 IN-46, Nashville, IN. The event offers two main distances and a free kids run. The course is described as hilly with trails primarily on mountain bike routes. Hills are rated 5 of 5 and surface is rated 3 of 5. This venue includes mile-long climbs and mile-long downhills; the course starts uphill for the first mile then flattens. The 5K returns downhill for a long finish; the 15K follows a loop with several long climbs and descents before finishing on the same long downhill.
Maps and GPX files are provided for both courses, and map distances may vary due to limitations of tracking apps. Race day rules require the race number to be visible, prohibit headphones and dogs, forbid short cutting, and ask runners to communicate when passing. There is no official time limit but services and awards may be limited for participants taking longer than 2 1/4 hours.
Awards are medals for the overall top three in each distance and for top three in each age group. Age groups for male and female are 0-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus. No refunds are issued and transfers are restricted near the event date; a service fee applies for participant-to-participant transfers.
