Event overview
Delirious WEST is an ultra trail event on the Bibbulmun Track in Western Australia, running from Northcliffe to Albany on 8–12 April 2026. The event offers two distances:
- 100 miles
- 200 miles
The course follows sections of the Bibbulmun Track and includes coastal cliffs, dunes, forested sections and beaches between Northcliffe and Frenchman’s Bay Road in Albany.
Race details
The 200 mile race covers about 340 km and the 100 mile race about 170 km. Aid stations are provided along the course: 20 for the 200 miler and 10 for the 100 miler, offering water, Tailwind, coke and hot and cold food options. Runners must carry a GPX file on the Gaia Maps app during the event and meet mandatory gear requirements that include a bivvy bag, seam-sealed waterproof jacket (minimum 10,000 rating), hi-vis vest, two headlamps with spare power, minimum 1.5 litres of water and a basic first aid kit. Some items (batteries, tape, a single serve Hydralyte sachet) must be handed in at check-in.
Entry is limited to 200 participants in total. Entry fees start from AU$1,690 for the 200 miler and AU$699 for the 100 miler, with payment plan options available. Runners must be at least 18 years old. Finish cutoffs are set by elapsed time: 101 hours for the 200 miler and 64 hours for the 100 miler.
