Crystal Cove Trail Run

Crystal Cove Trail Run is a trail running event organized by SoCalTrail at Crystal Cove State Park, El Moro, in Laguna Beach, California. The event includes multiple distances and a range of on-course support and finish-line amenities.

Distances:

15K - 9.35 miles with 1,647 ft of vertical, 3 aid stations
6K - 4.1 miles with 696 ft of vertical, 1 aid station
Kids 1k - 0.52 miles with 22 ft of vertical

Courses include fire road climbs, ridgeline descents and single track. The 15K course includes the Rock Garden, Elevator and the Wall. All courses are marked with flour, ribbons and directional signs.

On-course support and services include water, Skratch Hydration and Crank e-Gels at designated aid stations. Event amenities for entrants listed by the organizer include race shirts, hand-crafted finisher medals, free course photography, vegan-friendly breakfast, a 21+ beer garden, sports massage, sponsor giveaways, finish line announcers and music, same-day results and professional medical support.

Awards are offered by age group for female and male runners and overall podium awards for female, male and non-binary runners. The El Moro 15K offers a $2,000 prize purse with specified payouts for the top three finishers. Parking is at 8471 N.
