The Coastal Classic is a 30 km trail running event in the Royal National Park, New South Wales. The 2026 race day is set for 5 September 2026. Entries are scheduled to open on 11 April 2026. The event page and news items show that the Coastal Classic has been held in previous years and that results and photos are published after each edition. The event is organised by Max Adventure.
Course and format
The race follows the Coast Track from Otford to Bundeena. The off-road course includes rocky sections, sand and beach running, cliff-top trails, bushland and areas of rainforest, as well as steep hill inclines. Runners will have coastal views along parts of the route. The course is described as an established trail running route with a history in the local trail running scene; the 16th edition took place in 2025 using the original Otford to Bundeena coastal course.
