Coast to Kosciuszko (Coast To Kosci)
Coast to Kosci is a 240 km ultramarathon first held in 2004 and organised by runners for runners. The event states values of Community, Humility and Resilience and operates as an invitational race under the discretion of the Race Directors. Applications are announced each year in June and the Race Directors determine how many runners are invited.
The course commences at Twofold Bay near Eden in southern New South Wales and finishes 240 km later at Charlotte Pass, after summitting Mt Kosciuszko, Australia’s highest point. Around 60 runners are invited and have up to 46 hours to complete the course. The recorded female finishing time for 2024 was 27hrs 44mins, and the overall race record remains 24hrs 33mins set in 2014. The event also lists an official footwear partner and other supporters.
The organisers provide race rules, qualifying criteria and an application process to manage entry. Historical results and summaries for recent years are maintained, including past winners and an honour roll. The next edition is scheduled to start on 20 Nov 2026.
