Event overview

Chitty Chitty Run Run - Night & Day Edition is a two-day trail running event held 28 February to 1 March 2026 in Chittering (Chinkabee Rd, Bindoon, WA). The programme includes a night run on the first day and a daytime trail race on the second day, with optional on-site camping between the two events. The event is organised by Perth Trail Series. Ticket prices range from $13.00 to $167.00, with single-day and weekend multi-day options available.

Courses, entry and on-site facilities

The event uses a colour-coded course system with multiple distance options:

• Green: 4–6 km on remote trail
• Blue: 9–12 km on remote trail
• Black: 12–16 km on remote trail

Participants may drop down in distance on the day by notifying organisers. A DJ will be on site, and food trucks and barbecues will be available near the village start/finish. Event bibs are collected on race day at the Start/Finish. An event briefing is provided before each race and attendance is required. An Event Brief email is sent the Wednesday prior to the event. Registration remains open until the Tuesday before the event unless sold out earlier.

• Green course minimum age 6; under-12s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Blue course minimum age 12; requires three completed Green events and parent/guardian accompaniment for the first Blue event.
• Black course minimum age 16; requires three completed Blue events and parent/guardian accompaniment for the first Black event.
