Event Overview
The Chitty Chitty Run Run is a two-day trail event in Chittering, Western Australia. It is the final event of the Perth Trail Series Summer Series and takes place over a long weekend.
The Saturday night event is described as a trail run. The Sunday morning event is the final trail race of the Summer Series. Optional on-site camping is available between the two events. The event includes music from a DJ, food trucks, and a BBQ area for spectators.
Courses
The event uses a colour-coded system for its courses, each with different distances and experience levels. Courses are available on both Saturday night and Sunday morning.
- Green Course: A distance of 4-6 km on remote trails. The minimum age is 6 years. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Blue Course: A distance of 9-12 km on remote trails. The minimum age is 12 years. Children must have completed three Green Course events before attempting a Blue course and be accompanied the first time.
- Black Course: A distance of 12-16 km on remote trails. The minimum age is 16 years. Participants must have completed three Blue Course events before attempting a Black course and be accompanied the first time.
Participants can choose to drop down to a shorter distance on the event day.
Additional Information
