Brisbane Trail Marathon Race Day : Enoggera Reservoir

The event offers three trail races that start and finish at Enoggera Reservoir in South D’Aguilar National Park. Courses pass along open fire trails and narrow singletrack through eucalypt woodlands and subtropical rainforest, with a variety of trail surfaces.

Distances:

  • 42.37 km marathon (trail marathon)
  • 25.8 km TRAQ 25
  • 12.5 km Walkabout Creek trail race

Each race has a published cut-off duration: the marathon, TRAQ 25 and Walkabout Creek have cut-off limits, and checkpoint cut-off times apply on the marathon course. Checkpoints and marshals are positioned on the course to assist with direction, safety and timing. Checkpoints supply water, electrolyte drink, lollies, fruit and basic self-help first aid; cola is available at specific mid-race checkpoints.

Mandatory gear requirements differ by distance and include a specified capacity for carrying water, a mobile phone, a basic first aid kit, a whistle and a soft cup for the cup-free event policy. Parking is limited and participants must use designated parking areas; gates and site access are managed on race day. The event is capped at 300 entrants. Refunds are available up to two weeks before the event minus an administration fee. All finishers receive a medal. Toilets are available at South Boundary Road / Hell Hole area; there are no pacers and no drop bags at checkpoints. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
