BrewDog Summer Run 2026
The BrewDog Summer Run (World Cup Edition) is a non-competitive fun run that takes place on Saturday, 6th June 2026. The event offers participants a point-to-point journey through various landmarks, utilizing road sections and a former railway line.
There are two distance options available for participants:
- 34 km (Approximately 21 miles)
- 24 km (15 miles)
The full 34 km route begins at Archibald Simpsons, located at the corner of Union Street and King Street. The course proceeds through the Gallowgate, Haudagain, and Dyce before joining the old railway line leading to Ellon. Those opting for the 24 km distance may begin their run at the Dyce checkpoint. The final destination for both distances is the BrewDog DogTap in Ellon.
Participants are expected to be self-sufficient and dress according to the weather conditions. Two hydration stations are positioned along the route, providing water, snacks, beer, and prosecco. The organizers provide bag transportation from the starting points in ARCHIBALD Simpsons or Dyce to the finish at DogTap, allowing runners to have a change of clothes available at the end.
Upon finishing, participants receive a goody bag containing water, snacks, beer, and a special edition t-shirt. There is an option to have a tree planted instead of receiving a t-shirt, or to select both options for an additional fee. A bespoke event medal is also provided to those who complete the run. The finish venue offers indoor space in a museum room as well as outdoor areas. Return transport is available via regular buses from the nearby Park and Ride back to Union Square.
