Event Overview

The BrewDog Summer Run (World Cup Edition) is a running event. It starts at BrewDog Castlegate in Aberdeen and finishes at BrewDog DogTap in Ellon.

Route Details

The main route is approximately 21 miles (34 km). An alternative option allows participants to start at Dyce and run approximately 15 miles (24 km). The run is described as a fun run, not a race, and follows a route via Gallowgate, Haudagain, Dyce, and then along an old railway line to Ellon. Participants starting at Dyce can join the main group at the Dyce checkpoint.

On-Site Facilities

Two drinks stations are provided along the route, stocked with beer, prosecco, snacks, and water. Bag transportation is arranged from the Castlegate and Dyce start points to the finish at DogTap. At the finish, participants have access to a museum room or outdoor space at DogTap.

Post-Run Details

Participants receive a bespoke event medal and a goody bag containing a special edition t-shirt, beer, snacks, and water. An option is available to forgo the t-shirt in exchange for having a tree planted, or to receive both for an additional fee. Transport options from Ellon include arranging a lift or taking a short walk to a Park & Ride for regular buses back to Union Square.
