BrewDog Summer Run 2026
The BrewDog Summer Run takes place on 6 June 2026 and follows a mainly point to point route from BrewDog Castlegate to BrewDog DogTap in Ellon. The event is organised as a fun run, not a race, and participants are asked to run at a steady pace.
The route passes through the Gallowgate, Haudagain and Dyce, then follows the old railway line into Ellon. There is an option to reduce the distance by starting at Dyce instead of Castlegate. Participants should be relatively self sufficient and dress for the expected conditions.
Distances
- Approx 21 miles (34k) from BrewDog Castlegate to BrewDog DogTap, Ellon
- Approx 15 miles (24k) when starting at Dyce
On arrival at DogTap there is use of an indoor museum room or outdoor space. Two drinks stations en route will be stocked with beer, prosecco, snacks and water. Bag transportation will be arranged from Castlegate and Dyce to DogTap. On leaving Ellon participants can arrange their own return or walk to the nearby Park and Ride with regular buses to Union Square.
Finishers receive a bespoke event medal and a goody bag containing a special edition t shirt, beer, snacks and water. There is an option to have a tree planted instead of a t shirt or to have both for an additional fee. Entry fees are tiered at £44 until 28 February, £48 until 30 April, and £52 thereafter. Numbers are limited and no entries will be taken on the day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
