The BrewDog Summer Run is a popular fun running event held in Aberdeen, starting at BrewDog Castlegate and finishing at BrewDog DogTap in Ellon. The main course covers approximately 21 miles (34 km), following a scenic route through Gallowgate, Haudagain, Dyce, and along an old railway line to Ellon. For those seeking a shorter distance, a 15-mile (24 km) option begins at Dyce.

The run is non-competitive, with a steady pace and an expected duration of 3.5 to 5 hours. Participants enjoy two refreshment stations offering beer, snacks, and water. Morven Hill Race at Groddie near Dinnet on Saturday 8 November 2025 offers three waymarked distances up a classic upland summit. Expect a testing climb, scenic views and limited entries on the day.
