Brandon Ridge Half Marathon

The Brandon Ridge Half Marathon is an extreme mountain running event held in Dingle, County Kerry, Ireland. Covering 21 kilometers with a challenging 1260-meter ascent, the course starts at Baile Breac carpark at the foot of Mt Brandon. Runners face steep climbs, including the ascent of Mt Brandon and An Géarán, followed by boggy trails and scenic vistas before descending towards Dingle town.

The route is marked only at major junctions, requiring navigation skills, especially in misty conditions. Participants must carry mandatory advanced-level safety gear.
