Black River Trail 15K, 10K, 5K - Watertown

The Black River Trail event on May 2, 2026 takes place along the fully paved Black River Trail on the outskirts of Watertown, NY. The trail is described as smooth, flat, and well maintained, with scenic views and overlooks of the Black River. All race events start at the eastern entrance of the trail at the intersection of Rutland St./Route 3 in the Village of Black River.

The event offers multiple entry types and formats. Participants can choose from the following options:

The ruck division requires a minimum 20 pound carry. Awards are given for overall male and female, masters overall male and female, and age group winners. Course maps are listed for the 5K and 10K; the 15K combines both courses.

Packet pickup is scheduled for May 1 at Dicks Sporting Goods, Watertown, and at the race site entrance to the Black River Trail on May 2. Registration includes a custom race T shirt, official race bib, a 2026 finisher medal, free parking, and a digital finisher certificate. Free parking is available at the Black River Drive In within walking distance of the start area.
