Bennachie Summer Series 2026

The Bennachie Summer Series is a monthly trail race held on the second Thursday of the month from 14 May 2026 to 13 August 2026. Each event is a 5k route on forest tracks at the base of Bennachie, with registration and the race start located at the Bennachie Visitor Centre. The course has approximately 126 m of elevation and will be marked along the route. Toilets are available at the start and finish.

Results for the series are calculated from the best three times out of the four races. Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers. Entries for the entire series are priced at £18 plus a 4% administration fee. No entries are accepted on the day; online entries close on 12 May 2026.

All participants must be 18 or over on race day. Runners should wear appropriate footwear and kit for the terrain and weather. Limited water will be available at the finish. Parking is available at the Visitor Centre but the car park is not for exclusive use and participants are responsible for any parking charges.

Headphones and dogs are not permitted. Participants should inform the organisers of any existing medical conditions and carry any required medication during the race. The event is run under Scottish Hill Runners guidelines and participants are responsible for familiarising themselves with those guidelines and for their own safety.
