Atheon - Last Rucker Standing (Saturday, March 7, 2026)
Atheon is a Last Rucker Standing endurance ruck event held in Ashland City, TN at 2150 Sams Creek Road. Competitors complete repeated laps of a predetermined course of approximately 2.5 miles with about 800 feet of elevation gain. Each lap has a one-hour time limit; new evolutions begin every hour and all laps must start and finish inside a roped Start/Finish corral. The final remaining competitor must complete a final lap to claim victory. The event award for the winner is a custom engraved steel sword.
Rules, logistics and support
Mandatory dry ruck weights are specified and verified before the event: male competitors carry 30 lb, female competitors carry 20 lb. Competitors must mark the weight on their ruck and be self-supported while on course; no external aid is allowed. Prohibited items include trekking poles, weighted vests, plate carriers, and other non-back-distributed weight equipment. Each competitor is assigned a 10'×10' canopy staging space on a first-come, first-served basis; early arrival for camping and setup is permitted the day before the event. Course officials and volunteers are stationed at key points, a visible timing clock is displayed at the Start/Finish area, corral officials track progress by bib number, and basic aid stations and restroom facilities are provided.
