Alpine Solstice
Alpine Solstice is an early summer trail event near Bend, Oregon, held in the Cascade range around Swampy Lakes Sno Park. The event uses classic Bend single track trails and takes place close to Tumalo Falls and the high Cascade peaks.

The 55K course, introduced for 2025, runs mostly on single track and two track trails past Tumalo Falls with views of high Cascade peaks. The route has about 4000 ft of elevation gain and 4000 ft of elevation loss, four fully stocked aid stations, and is composed of roughly 90 percent single track and 10 percent two track. Participants have 11.5 hours to complete the distance.
The Half Marathon course follows flowing single track through the Deschutes National Forest along Cascade Lakes Highway. The route has about 1300 ft of elevation gain, is mostly non technical, and includes one aid station at mile 9.5 offering water, electrolyte drink options, Coke, ginger ale, gels, and snacks.
The event policy specifies no transfers to other runners. Cancellations more than 30 days before the race are eligible for a 50 percent credit toward the same event the following year; cancellations 30 days or less before the race receive no credit, refund, or transfer. If the organizer must cancel without feasible rescheduling, refunds and credits will not be provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
