Alpine Solstice
Alpine Solstice is an early summer trail race near Bend, Oregon, held on June 20, 2026, on one of the longest days of the year. The event uses classic Central Oregon smooth singletrack in the Cascades. The 55K course passes by Tumalo Falls.

The race base is Swampy Lakes Sno Park near Bend. Registration fees vary by date with the 55K listed at $125 to $140 and the half marathon at $95 to $115. Registrants who register by May 17 are guaranteed a shirt size. Bib pickup is available on race morning up until shortly before each race.
Pre-race service includes Backporch Coffee at check in. Post-race offerings for participants and volunteers include a burrito bar and beer from local breweries. Every finisher receives a custom finisher medal. Top three finishers in female, male, and non-binary categories in each race receive prizes from sponsors.
Trails used are multi-use and remain open to other users during the event. Dogs are not permitted to run with participants. The event is cupless so participants are expected to use their own cup or bottle at aid stations.
The race is held under a special use permit with Deschutes National Forest and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
