All Fired Up Fun Run, Edithvale

All Fired Up Fun Run is a community event presented by the Edithvale Fire Brigade. The event is family orientated and offers activities for spectators and participants. It is held at Edithvale Common, with the start area at the Memorial Oval on Edithvale Road and courses routed along the Longbeach Trail beside the wetlands.

The event offers multiple course distances:

• 5 km walk or run
• 10 km run
• 15 km run (Buxton)

Each distance includes separate categories for women, men, juniors (under 16) and team entries of five participants. Finisher certificates are made available online after the events.

Onsite entertainment and services are provided for participants and spectators. Listed activities include a coffee van, a breakfast and brunch BBQ, fire displays and demonstrations, plus other family orientated attractions. The fun run also supports brigade fundraising to supplement CFA supplied equipment. The Edithvale Fire Brigade is a volunteer brigade that provides fire and rescue services, emergency medical response in support of Ambulance Victoria, community education and broader emergency management support, attending in excess of 300 emergency calls per year.
